Rug Care Tips
With proper maintenance and rug padding, you can maximize your area rug investment. The following tips can be used on all types of rugs, and can keep your rug looking great!

Frequent vacuuming benefits all rugs, but please do not vacuum rug fringe, or use beater- bar attachments on hooked rugs.

Turn rugs 180 degrees annually to alternate wear patterns and even out sun exposure.

Spot clean all spills with soda water, blotting with a white cloth. Quick reaction helps minimize the chances of a stain 'setting.' All stubborn stains should be treated by a professional rug cleaner. If you have purchased the Stainsafe Area Rug Protection Plan, please refer to the warranty card for care and cleaning guidelines.

AREA RUG PROTECTION LIMITED WARRANTY
Stainsafe Area Rug Cleaner with Stain Repellent (hereinafter "Stainsafe Area Rug Cleaner") Five (5) Year LIMITED WARRANTY.
Stainsafe warrants that Stainsafe Area Rug Cleaner exclusively distributed by Stainsafe is designed to remove stains and resist
additional staining up to five (5) years from the date of the purchase of Stainsafe Area Rug Cleaner, subject to the terms and conditions
set forth herein.
WARRANTY COVERAGES
Stainsafe Area Rug Cleaner is designed to correct and prevent reoccurrence of the types of stains as more fully set forth below for new area rugs purchased in conjunction with Stainsafe Area Rug Cleaner. Failure of Stainsafe Area Rug Cleaner to correct and prevent
reoccurrence of any of the following during normal residential use represents a failure of the Stainsafe Area Rug Cleaner to operate as
warranted herein:

HOW THE WARRANTY WORKS
If your new area rug becomes accidentally stained as described above during normal RESIDENTIAL use and you cannot remove the stain
using Stainsafe Area Rug Cleaner in accordance with product directions or the use of the Stainsafe Area Rug Cleaner as directed fails to prevent the recurrence of new stains, as described above, Stainsafe will, at its sole option, repair the affected portion or replace the complete area rug with the same or a similar area rug having a retail purchase price less than or equal to the original purchase price of the affected area rug. This warranty only pertains to the performance of Stainsafe Area Rug Cleaner and does not supersede any warranty offered by the manufacturer of the area rug.
HOW TO OBTAIN SERVICE
Within five (5) days of the stain occurring, contact our customer service department using our toll free number (866) 225-2196 or
e-mail us at claims@warrantyservice.com. This warranty is not transferable and the consumers shown on the original receipt are the only people eligible for coverage. You must have your new area rug delivered from the retailer free of stains and damage. This warranty does not cover stains or damage resulting from transit of area rugs from retailers to consumers. If you do not maintain the area rug as required by the manufacturer of the area rug or you do not cooperate with the reasonable request of Stainsafe in its efforts to perform its obligations, this warranty becomes void.
When calling for service you must have:
- The original copy of this warranty
- The date you took delivery of the area rug
- The date the stain occurred
FIVE YEAR AREA RUG PROTECTION LIMITED WARRANTY
This "Limited Warranty" is effective for five (5) years from the date the consumer takes delivery of the new area rug and the Stainsafe Area Rug Cleaner
THE SERVICE PROCESS

Stainsafe™ may provide free professional stain removal, advice and/or products to aid in the cleaning of the affected area. |

If the stain persists, Stainsafe may arrange for a no charge in-home service by a professional technician. |

If Stainsafe's designated technician determines that repairs must occur off-site, the area rug will be removed and returned at no cost. |
| - |
Stainsafe, at its sole option, may elect to replace the affected area rug if Stainsafe's designated technician cannot remove the stain. Consumers may select a new replacement area rug equal in value to the original purchase price of the affected area rug. |

Service is limited to the affected area rug only. |

Stainsafe is not responsible for dye lot or texture variations. |

Replacement selection will be done at the original place of purchase; otherwise, Stainsafe, at its sole option, will refund a pro-rated portion of the purchase price of Stainsafe Area Rug Cleaner. Area rug replacement limited to $10,000.00 per occurrence. |
IMPORTANT EXCLUSIONS
This warranty does not cover anything not specifically listed in the "Warranty Coverage" section above; in transit damage and/or stains; failure to comply with the warranty of the manufacturer of the area rug; willful or negligent abuse or misuse; food dye stains; accumulation or soiling from normal use, body oil, hair oil, perspiration; any stains of unknown origin; any pet damage except stains as listed in the "Warranty Coverage" section above; any odors; fading; color loss and/or discoloration; any silk and/or non-color fast area rugs; any area rug sold "as-is"; used and/or without Manufacturers warranty and/or Retailers warranty; any costs or damage from repair and/or cleaning by anyone or any products or procedures without written authorization from Stainsafe; any damage from Stainsafe products not used according to product instructions; all natural characteristics that cause appearance variations; loss of use of treated area rug; area rugs in storage, utilized for commercial use, non-residential, rental or in-home day care businesses; consequential or incidental damages except those expressly covered herein; personal injury damages; lost profits, lost savings, or other economic damages; damage from fraud, intentional acts, war, hostilities, terrorism, vandalism, fire, flood or acts of God.
INFORMATION
This warranty is not renewable or transferable and does not supersede the warranty of the manufacturer of the area rug. The customer(s) shown on the sales receipt or this agreement is/are the only person(s) eligible for coverage under this warranty. Stainsafe's failure to exercise certain rights under this warranty does not waive those rights. Technicians referred to through out this warranty may be independent contractors of Stainsafe and may not be employees of Stainsafe. Stainsafe assumes no liability, incidental to or in connection with, services provided by it's independent contractors other than those specifically mentioned in this warranty or any statements or claims made by technicians.
Any provision contained herein which is found to be contrary to state or local laws shall be deemed null and void and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
All express and implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the coverage period. No warranties, express or implied, will apply after this period.
This warranty gives the customer certain legal rights. The customer may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
Any controversy or claim for damages arising out of, or relating to this warranty or breach thereof, shall be settled by arbitration administered by American Arbitration Association, in accordance with it's Commercial Arbitration rules, and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitration, may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. Stainsafe, Inc., is the entity that is financially and legally obligated to perform the service specified in this warranty.
